Dudes! Yes, we accept TIPS! If you wanna slip us a buck or two, we'll gladly add it to the BEER FUND..er, um...STREAM FUND! Thanks a BILLION!

As of August 18th, 2006 HoTMetaLradio.com has discontinued the 24/7 live music stream.

In order to spend more time in other pursuits, to care for our families, and to get our garage back, we're closing down...for now.

We met some awesome people, talked to a couple real rock stars, we got pretty far for running a radio station from a garage. We proved our mettle with metal. We showed what could be done when ya start from nuthin, and it's been a pretty cool ride over these five years. We had alot of laughs, more than a few drunken stupers. We also spent alot of money. ALOT! Eventually it becomes wise to invest in other things more profitable. Not that I really got in to this thing for the money to begin with. Anyways. there's nothing bad about closing one of life's chapters on a high note.

Maybe we'll \m/KRANK\m/ up the stream again or reincarnate one way or another sometime if the internet metal community gets to slippin' or the need for HMR arises somewhere down the road, so dont go forgettin us. Email addresses will remain the same, so those of you that have them, use 'em, keep in touch.

Thanks for it all, dudes, dudettes and others...KEEP IT LOUD.

Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime II
Queensryche
Operation Mindcrime II
Seattle quintet Queensryche has always stood apart from other heavy metal bands through their artful progressive bent and intense observations on the world around them. With their third album, 1988's Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed Operation: Mindcrime-a concept opus born out of Reagan-era disilllusionment-Queensryche transcended the metal label and sealed their reputation for cerebral musci and heady lyrical vision. Set 20 years later, and awash in "rock, revenge, and redemption," this brilliant new sequel was inspired by current political and social climates.
